RIYADH: Telecom operator Zain Saudi has reported a widening fourth-quarter loss.

The company made a net loss of SR462 million ($123.2 million) in the three months to Dec. 31. This compares with a net loss of SR443 million in the prior-year period.

Zain Saudi's full-year net loss for 2013 was SR1.65 billion. It made a net loss of SR1.75 billion a year earlier.
