Saudi Arabia’s stock market ended higher on Sunday, supported by food producer Almarai. The Tadawul All Share Index edged up 0.2 percent on the back of insurance companies and food producers.
Almarai continued to surge, rising 5.5 percent to SR71.00, a fresh all-time high, after NBK Capital recently raised its fair value estimate for the stock by 5 percent to SR78.00, Reuters reported. The value of traded shares reached nearly SR10.6 billion.
Agriculture and Food index was up 2.14 percent. Insurance stocks rose 3 percent.
Transport index dropped 1 percent.
