Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) reflected a 0.26 percent decline for the entire day to close at 9,838.86 points on Tuesday. It lost 25.75 points for the session, performing within a range of 40.2 points.

Large Cap dipped greater than half percent among the market cap indices. Most of heavyweights finished to the downside, with Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) reducing by 2.16 percent and Al-Rajhi Bank 0.7 percent. Mobily volume was five times greater than its 50-day average.

Sectoral indices performed in a mixed fashion, with eight sectors reflecting an accumulation of 225 points and seven sectors shedding 367.4 points collectively. Media and Publishing outdid rest of the sectors, advancing 1.31 percent to 4,520.77.

Share prices of two Cement stocks namely City and Najran raced to an all time high, growing by 3.11 percent and 1.93 percent respectively.

On the other negative side, Telecommunication & Information Technology sector fell again declining by 1.58 percent. Decliners outnumbered the advancers by a margin of 76 to 68 and the prices of 16 companies remained unchanged.

Ash Sharqiyah Development Co. (SHADCO) made the biggest jump among all Saudi equities, marching higher by 9.93 percent to close the day at SR74.5. On the other side of the spectrum, National Agriculture Marketing Co. (THIMAR) went down by same percentage or SR10.87, ending at SR98.75.

Tadawul turnover changed a little (±5 percent) from previous level. More than 275 million shares worth SR9.9 billion were flowed into the market. Saudi Kayan captured 13.7 percent market share in terms of volume.

Saudi Automotive Services Co. was the single gainer among most active stocks, surging 4.47 percent for the day. SASCO volume went 5.7 times high over its 50-day average, liquidating 10.6 million shares.
