Twenty German companies are expected to take part in the 9th German Breakfast and 6th German Catalog Show in Riyadh on May 25 and 26 and in Dammam on May 27 and 28.

In Riyadh, Abdullah S. Al-Mobty, chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, will be the guest of honor at the opening ceremony.

Andreas Hergenroether, delegate of German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia and Yemen, will also attend the event.

“The German Breakfast has an excellent reputation in Saudi Arabia. Since 2004, AHK Saudi Arabia has been successfully hosting this exclusive event for business guests covering various industries and the also the public sector,” said Christian Engels, AHK Saudi Arabia spokesman.

It is also a major platform for German as well as Saudi business people, CEOs and VIPs to get together to share ideas and visions for the future.

It will be an excellent opportunity, he said, to deepen exisitng relations.

High-ranking representatives from German companies such as BASF, Henkel, TUV Rheinland, Kuehne und nagel, Hoermann, Fuchs Petroleum and Ernst and Young will be present at the event.

He said the catalog show was established in 2006 and “has turned out to be great success as it offers an outstanding opportunity for German companies to get in touch with the Saudi market.”

“The catalog show creates and deepens relations between German companies seeking to enter the Saudi amrket and Saudi companies looking for new and innovative partners,” Engels said.

This year, he said, the 20 participating firms range from construction, engineering, health care, software, food, consulting and executive education.

“Saudi companies interested in these fields are welcome to attend the Catalog Show in Riyadh on My 26 at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and in Dammam on May 28 at the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce,” Engels said.
