Toyota’s general manager for sales and marketing in the Middle East and Southwest Asia has highlighted his company’s strong relations with Abdul Latif Jameel Group during the past 60 years.
“We would like to continue this distinguished cooperation and ideal relationship with ALJ for another 60 years,” said Akio Takayama while addressing ALJ’s annual meeting in Riyadh for its dealers across the Kingdom.

Jameel also stressed the need to transfer expertise and best practices from the present generation to the next generation. “This is essential for companies to maintain their name and fame,” he told the large gathering. “This will enable us to have a new generation who is knowledgeable and capable and upholds the company’s values.”
He underscored ALJ’s achievements in 2013, adding that it was the result of “our unity of objective that makes us partners in success and achievements, and we work together as single team.” He said the present achievement should encourage the company’s employees to work for future with greater enthusiasm and creativity.
“Together we’ll be able to confront the challenges and difficulties, and together we can work for distinction and better performance,” the vice president said.
Jameel and Takayama distributed prizes to outstanding dealers in Toyota car sales; Lexus sales; Daihatsu sales; maintenance work; and spare parts sales. In his concluding statement, Jameel said he was happy to see a large number of dealers from across the Kingdom attending the meeting.
