Cars redefine luxury, comfort at 2012 Jeddah motor show

EXCS INTERNATIONAL LUXURY Motor Show 6th 2012 was concluded in Hlton Jeddah last Thursday. Engineer Mufreh Zahrani, undersecretary of the ministry of transportation, assistant manager for technical affairs opened the motor show which was attended by experts in the field and media. It is worth mentioning that 20 auto companies participated in the motor show that lasted 3 days, although some big companies did not participate, such as Ferrari, Infinity, Maserati Lincoln U.S. More than 13 thousand visitor visited the motor show.
Saudi Private Aviation sponsored the motor show for the third year. Wajdi Alshareef Aledrisi, president of the airline, emphasized on the importance of participating in this specialized show that targets the same population as the airline.
Korean Luxury
The new competitors in luxury cars' sector included Kia motor's Chorus, Hyundai's classy cars, Centennial and Genesis, which captured the admiration of the visitors.
On this occasion, Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors-Hyundai, celebrated receiving the award for best luxury car for its Centennial 2013 through a referendum by Sport Auto magazine. Tom Lee, Regional Director for Hyundai Middle East, and Hazm Jamjoom, Vice President at Mohammad Yousuf Naghi received the award in a special ceremony.
The fastest and most expensive in the world
For the first time in the Middle East, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento appeared at the motor show. It is known to be the fastest and most magnificent car in the world of sport cars. Its first appearance was in Paris Motor Show, where it was described as the real star of the show.
Siraj Quteh, the director of Lamborghini in the Kingdom and Bahrain, said that a limited number of the Sesto Elemento, only 20 cars, will be manufactured. The car is ‬ characterized by its light weight, 990 kg, the V10 power unit with 5.2 liters that generates (570 CV*), and can accelerate from zero to 100 km per hour in two and a half seconds, with a top speed up to 350 km per hour. It is made of carbon fiber, with a price of one million six hundred thousand euros. It is also said that Lamborghini is one of the most important trade marks in the field of super Sport cars. Demand for the car has increased recently. This participation for Lamborghini represents the fourth one in EXCS motor shows.

New Aston Martin model "Vanquish 2013", which represents the epitome of a century of technical expertise, blended with high British craftsmanship became a milestone in the world of luxury sports cars. The advantage of this version of cars is the two independent rear seats that work with electrical energy ,thus enhancing the levels of space and comfort enjoyed by the rear passengers, improving the experience of the Range Rover's rear seats to new levels of luxury, providing the passengers of the rear section with ultra-sophistication and luxury equipment .
