DAMMAM: The medical imaging department in collaboration with the academic affairs department and the office of international cooperation at King Fahd Specialist Hospital Dammam is organizing the second international conference in advances in tumor imaging in conjunction with transplant imaging.
The conference will be held at the Sheraton Hotel from Oct. 15 to Oct. 17 in Dammam.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Buali, consultant in the medical imaging department at King Fahd Specialist Hospital and chairman of the organizing committee of the conference, said: “The conference reflects the mission and vision of King Fahd Specialist Hospital that aims to provide an outstanding specialized services of international standard in the field of tumor and transplant imaging.”
The conference will highlight the latest technologies in oncology and transplant imaging and will discuss topics of international interest such as role of PET/CT in oncology and advances in PET: PET/MR& PEM as well as imaging of adnexal, renal and liver masses, MRI of prostate, rectal and uterine cancers, advanced MRI in oncology imaging and advances in breast imaging and imaging in multiorgan transplantation.
