The Jeddah Atelier gallery in collaboration with Cairo Atelier organized a contemporary Arab art exhibition which opened to public this week.
The opening night attended largely by members of the art community, collectors and media officials was well received in view of the large collection of artworks exhibited by over 30 modern Arab artists.
The show featured around 50 major artworks by some of the most prominent and leading Egyptian artists and sculptors, veteran fine arts painters from Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab art world.
The entire gamut of paintings and sculptures showcased under the common theme of Ibda’a (creativity) collectively possesses a fluid commentary on the vestiges of ordinary life, Arabian mysticism, heritage, women and romance.
The works also heavily reflect undertones of social, economical, political and psychological dialogue that dictates everyday living in Egypt and the rest of the Arab world.
Ibda’a is an artistic celebration of the rich Arab culture; an exhibition that the growing number of art enthusiasts in the city cannot afford to miss.
All the exhibited artworks are available for sale.
The exhibition is currently running at Jeddah Atelier until the end of month.
