Mobily’s forum for apps developers will kick off on Saturday (Oct. 5) at Al-Mishkat Hall in Aqaria Plaza in Riyadh, where the latest specialized issues in the world of mobile phone applications will be among the topics discussed. Awards will be distributed to the winners of Mobily’s competition for apps developers.

The forum is described as the only one that handles applications in the region. At the event, Mobily is keen to highlight the capabilities of application developers in the region to promote the Arabic content, especially with the growing spread of smartphones.

The forum, expected to be attended by the most prominent applications developers in the region, will discuss several topics notably the discovery of strategies available for developers to make their applications profitable and how to get financial returns out of their applications.

Khalid Alsudairi, Tareq Mansour, Issa Atawi and other prominent application developers will discuss the latest achievements in this field and the lessons they learned from developing and marketing their applications.

The forum will also witness the crowning of the final three winners out of 20 application developers who were nominated earlier to win the prize of Mobily competition for application developers. A total of SR300,000 worth of awards were allocated for the final three winners, with each getting SR100,000.

Mobily’s forum for apps developers is an annual event held by the company in order to gather all those interested in applications under one roof.

This event aims to motivate application developers to build new software for mobile phones, which are compatible with Islamic and Arabic content.
