HOPE for exceptional needs, a multilingual and multicultural center teaching life skills and functional academics, is hosting a special event in Jeddah on Feb. 20.

Arab News is the exclusive media partner of the event being held at the HOPE Center premises from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dr. Sohair Balkhy, MD and developmental pediatrician, and Dr. Uzma Raheem, clinical psychopathologist, will lead the team of therapists and specialists.

The screening will be conducted in physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and special education and academics.

Parents of children showing any of the following mentioned signs can visit and get assessed: Children showing signs of autism and related disorders; those facing problems with reading, writing and comprehension, speech and hearing related issues; difficulties with sensory processing, and delays in developmental skills like cognition, behavioral modification and socialization. They are eligible to attend the free screening.
