Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of Interior, visited Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC’s) special pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2013 during its 33rd session in Dubai. He was welcomed by Nawaf bin Saad Al-Shaalani, STC’s GM for media affairs, and conducted on a tour of the pavilion. Al-Shaalani gave him with a detailed explanation on the most significant and sophisticated services that reflect STC’s remarkable progress in the field of telecommunication technology, regionally and globally.

The STC pavilion incorporated a number of the group’s subsidiaries, including VIVA Kuwait, VIVA Bahrain, AWAL, specialized in IT services, and INTIGRAL, the platform for digital media content solutions.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of GITEX Dubai 2013, STC received the ISO global certificate (ISO 27001:2005) for specializing in information security of the electronic services provided on the company website.

This accomplishment is a continuation of STC’s ongoing achievements in the field of information security specifically where it comes to the provision of information easily, conveniently and with utmost possible security to maintain the confidentiality and availability of its customers’ information.
