Leading role for STC at Jeddah conference

STC is taking part in Saudi Arabia CIO Summit 2012 today and tomorrow.
More than 100 influential information technology experts in the Kingdom will participate in the event in Jeddah.
The summit will discuss the latest developments in the Kingdom’s information technology industry, the new directions in the telecommunication industry and the effectiveness of collaborative tools.
It will focus primarily on the role that IT management can play to enhance the operational efficiency and to identify priorities in IT projects.
The conference will also showcase aspects related to the management of information centers and business continuity, and the data recovery process in the event of a disaster.
STC participates in the summit as the telecom firm with the largest network in the Middle East, empowering the company to provide many services and innovative solutions to the enterprise sector. STC provided the latest information technologies, application, and innovations, including the cloud computing service. The company also took the lead in introducing such pioneering technologies in the Saudi market.
STC announced its plansat a recent press conference that it intends to participate in the summit as a premium partner, for the second consecutive year, in cooperation with IDC, the event organizer.
