Bupa Arabia, a major medical insurance provider in Saudi Arabia, has signed a health care partnership with Ittihad Football Club (FC), a prominent local and regional football club in Saudi Arabia.
The deal was inked at Ittihad FC headquarters in Jeddah in the presence of Ittihad FC’s President Ibrahem Albalwi and board members, and Bupa Arabia’s Chairman Loay Hisham Nazer and management executives.
Both parties will provide players with the finest health insurance and health care services for first team players of the club along with their families.
Under this agreement, Bupa Arabia will provide Ittihad FC with health insurance facilities for five continuous seasons. The agreement is supported by a wide series of health care services, including sports-related checkups when the club signs new players, managing their sports injuries and making the available the latest and best medical centers and hospitals to them.
Bupa Arabia will provide consulting and technical support for the development and improvement of the club’s medical facilities. This is done through improved fitness and exercise programs with the most innovative and preeminent technology related to sports fitness and health.
Albalwi stated: “We express our appreciation over the agreement and commend all those who contributed to its success.”
Nazer said: “We relay our utmost appreciation and gratitude to Ibrahem Albalwi for entrusting with confidence this exclusive partnership that will yield the desired objectives of making us stand by the team players for better health.”
