Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) Gov. Abdullah Al-Dharrab opened “Zain KSA” exhibition at the Saudi pavilion at the ITU Telecom World 2012, organized in Dubai by the International Telecommunication Union.
The show continues till Oct. 18.
Saud Al-Bawardi, chief commercial officer at Zain KSA, said the company’s exhibition has the latest in the field of telecommunications and information technology, which is up-to-the communications revolution in the world, as well as a group of smartphones that support the 4G network via the frequency supported by the company.
Al-Bawardi also said the company’s exhibition contains a review of its experiences in the field of telecommunications and information technology, and its work to cope with the rapid developments in that sector, particularly in the area of broadband and the 4G.
Al-Bawardi said the company exhibition seeks to contribute in highlighting Communications and Information Technology Phase in the Kingdom, which is one of the leading countries in this field in the Middle East, saying that the support and facilities provided by the Kingdom’s government, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, for all operating companies, helped the country occupy advanced positions around the world in the field.
Zain KSA was one of the companies that participated effectively in a similar pavilion for the Kingdom, held in Geneva in 2009.
