Obaidullah, Abdul Wahab and Adnan stole limelight in the inaugural RCA warm-Up T20 matches being played at RCA cricket grounds.
In the first match of the morning session, Riyadh Warriors beat Hyderabadi Warriors by 22 runs. Batting first Riyadh Warriors scored 186 for 3 in 20 over’s. Ayaz 41, Abdul Rahim 40 and Ahmadullah 36 were the main scorers. Aurangzaib and Naser of Hyderabadi Warriors took a wicket each.
In reply, Hyderabadi Warriors were bowled out for 164. Shakeel and Azhar took 2 wickets each for Riyadh Warriors.
In a Super League match at RCA-2, Ayoun Al Badr scored a comfortable 40-run win over FUCHS. Batting first Ayoun Al Badr scored 205 in allotted over’s helped by a superb innings from Obaid Ullah (101 of 52 balls). He was ably supported by Shiraz Shafiq who scored 57 runs. FUCHS totaled 165 in their allotted overs. Aminullah took 4 wickets and Imran Khan 3 for Ayoun Al Badr while Usman scored 49 and Waqar 40 runs for Fuchs.
In another match, Lahore Lions routed Lahore Badshah comfortably by 81 runs.
Electing to bat first Lahore Lions scored 240 for 4 in 20 over’s. Omar Zafar was the top-scorer for Lahore Lions with 64, while Nawaz scored 53 and Owais 41. Chasing a big target, Lahore Badshah was bowled out for 159. For Lahore Lions Owais took 3 wickets, Muzaffar, Nawaz and Waseem took 2 wickets each.
At RCA-4 ground, Pak Shaheen ousted BSF by 99 runs. Batting first Pak Shaheen scored 260 runs in 20 over’s. Abdul Wahab played a blistering knock and scored (119 runs of 45 balls), Usman Khan scored 52 and Ateeq Ahmed 49 runs.
In reply BSF made 161. For Pak Shaheen, Abdul Salam took 3 wickets, Asif and Abdul Aziz took 2 wickets each.
At RCA-3, Shouraim scored an emphatic 7 wickets victory over KFSH Blues. Shouraim winning the toss and electing to field first bowled out KFSH Blues for 183. Nasir Abbasi 48, Fakhar Qureshi 57, Qaiser 23 and Usman 24 batted well for KFSH Blues. Ilyas took 4 wickets while Zeeshan and Farooq grabbed 2 wickets each.
In reply Shouraim achieved the target in 18.4 overs. For Shouraim, Wiqas looked in great form and scored 87 runs while Faisal contributed 49. Raja Gulraiz, Qasim and Usman took 1 wicket each for KFSH Blues.
In Premier League-2, Kashmir Press beat AB Contracting by 51 runs. Batting first Kashmir Press scored 187 in 20 overs. Imtiaz Ahmed scored 49, Mohammed Kashif 41, Zahid Ashraf 39 and Waseem 32.
In reply AB Contracting could only manage 136 runs.
Later, Imran XI beat Seham. Kashmir XI beat Tigers by 32 runs. Kashmir XI batted first and scored 207 in 20 overs. Upol took 3 wickets for Tigers. Chasing 208, Tigers was restricted to 174 in 20 overs. Bilal (78) was the highest scorer for Tigers.
At RCA-2 ground, Stallions beat Attieh Steel by mammoth margin of 163 runs. Batting first Stallions scored 252 for 5 in 20 overs. Asif top-scored with fine 63 while Amir contributed 61, Yassir 43 and Junaid 29 respectively. Chasing massive target of 253, Attieh Steels collapsed for paltry 93. Adnan bowled beautifully and destroyed the Attieh Steel batting lineup with figures of 6 for 23.
In a Premier League 2 match, Combined XI beat Friends XI by 59 runs. Batting first Combined XI scored 203 in 20 over’s. Asmat Shahzad scored 44. Friends XI was all out for 144 in 18.2 over’s. Ahmed Qayyum took 4 wickets.
Riyadh Fighters beat CKK in Premier League-1 by 2 wickets. Batting first CKK scored 181 in 20 over’s. Imran took 3 wickets. Riyadh Fighters achieved the target in 18.1 over’s. Omar Khittab was the top scorer with 46 runs. Nusrat Ali also chipped in with 36 useful runs. Thales beat RAC by 34 runs. Batting first Thales scored 183 in 18 overs. Shahid was the highest scorer for Thales with 63 runs. Atif scored 61 and Fahad 36. In reply, RAC scored 149. For Thales Atif and Amjad took 2 wickets each.
