Giordano’s summer collection now in stores

Giordano has launched the new Summer 2012 Collection across its 226 shops across the region.
Featuring a range of 100 percent natural linen items plus colored cotton maxi-dresses, the new summer collection appeals for those looking for effortless style while keeping cool out in the sun.
“Linen is the ideal fabric for high summer temperatures in the Gulf; it’s Mother Nature’s finest summer fabric, helping skin to breathe and minimizing discomfort caused by high humidity, heat and dust. Feeling fresh during the summer is a promise that only linen can keep,” said Ishwar Chugani, executive director of Giordano Middle East, India and Africa.
“With the new Summer 2012 Giordano Linen Collection, our customers can easily mix and match pieces to create a new casual look that’s suited for the season.”
The Giordano Linen Collection, made with 100 percent natural linen, features summer wardrobe essentials for men and women. The whole collection takes its inspiration from a natural, no-frills look in white, neutrals and earth tones, with color options including washed stone, dune khaki, linen green and sea Malibu.
Men can hone their casual style by mixing and matching khaki trousers or Bermuda shorts with linen blazers and shirts. Available in the classics — white, natural, corn, aqua, ice blue and indigo, the linen shirt collection also comes in stripes and checks.
For women, 100 percent linen plain, striped and check tops look great paired with Bermuda shorts or classic Capri pants.
The women’s collection comes in natural shades plus pink and berry brights.
The new summer collection for women also includes flowing cotton sleeveless maxi dresses in multiple colors and styles; from classic black and white or navy blue stripes to strawberry pink, papaya, lemon, berry fusion and sea breeze — the fruity colors make you feel refreshed and ready to breeze into the summer.
