Gujarat elections

Most probably Narendra Modi is going to win a comfortable majority in the Gujarat assembly again. This is really a vulgar display and dangerous demonstration of ignorance and political unawareness of the masses of Gujarat. As a matter of fact the BJP doesn’t have leverage on the thinking class Hindu masses in the country. It is only the masses of Gujarat on whom the baneful spell of Modi has fallen. Actually Modi is cashing on the social dichotomy and communal polarization in Gujarat. He is following in the footsteps of Zionists who promoted Islamophobia in the West.
In fact not only Muslims but all thinking Hindus brand Modi as persona non grata whose crime against innocent and helpless Muslims has polluted the country and brought a disgrace to good Hindus. The fact is that animosity against Modi is more among the thinking class Hindus than the common Muslims.
Following the bloody history of brutal massacre of Muslims at the instance of Modi in Gujarat riots in 2002, it is not only the life and property of Gujarati Muslims but also reputation of secularism of the largest democracy on the planet and conscience of good Hindu people have suffered a lot at the hands of Narandra Modi.
However the pricking point is that the Congress-led federal government has never ever seriously tried to shine a light on the open and secret crimes of Modi. Several high-rung police officials of Gujarat who served under Modi have been rotting behind bars for their crimes and coldblooded murders of innocent Muslims at the instance of Modi and his Interior Ministry. There are insurmountable evidences against Modi which can be sufficient even to put him to death. But he has never even been questioned by police or any commission for the pogrom of Muslims in Gujarat during his regime in 2002. Entire world knows that it was preplanned, well organized, state-supported but still the planners, the organizers, and the supporters are roaming free and enjoying the power. Does not it ascertain that the Congress and the BJP are going hand-in-glove? — Shams Al-Arifin, By e-mail
