Under the leadership of Principal M.K. Abdul Sathar, the students of grades 10 and 11 at Mahd Al Uloom International School visited King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah on Tuesday and had a chance to experience the vibrant life and culture of the university.
The students were then treated to the inspiring words of Ayman Saleh Fadel, dean of Students Affairs, along with a group of other chief officials in the university.
The excitement of the students was palpable. He added that King Abdul-Aziz University is considered a pioneer in offering higher education to all nationals in the world.
This was followed by an interactive session with Adinan, the head of the Department Engineering. The session was an enriching experience for the students as they were exposed to inventions and the latest findings in the field of science. He said Saudi Arabia is set to launch two indigenous satellites with a precision navigation system soon.
During their visit, the students found that the Kingdom has been attaining tremendous growth in the field of science and technology.
“We maintain the fact that science should be learned in the spirit of the Holy Qur’an,” said Thanveer from Grade 10. Ahmad Al Ghamdi, Sihab Neelambra and Sashidharan accompanied the students in their visit.
