I have seen a lot being written these days on Indo-Pak conflict and people have been taking extreme positions on the issue. I believe it would have been absolutely OK had the Indian soldiers been killed in line of duty by Pakistani Army bullets since such skirmishes do happen across the Line of Control.
Both sides have casualties. But it’s the mutilation and beheading of soldiers that has stirred the anger in India. Soldier in uniform demands respect even in death, globally.
We have seen how the Pakistani soldiers from the Northern Light Infantry, who were killed in the Kargil conflict, were abandoned by the Pakistan Army. — Bhaskara Sujeet Kumar, Riyadh
