JEDDAH: Prince Nawaf bin Faisal, head of the Youth Welfare Presidency, yesterday announced a number of new appointments to strengthen the organization. “During the next phase, we’ll involve the youth in preparing the presidency’s programs,” he said.
Prince Nawaf appointed Fahd Al-Bani vice president of the organization; Faisal Al-Nassar vice president for sports affairs; Muhammad Al-Qarnas vice president for youth affairs; and Khaled Al-Muzaini, dean of sports academy, adviser for sports affairs.
Other major appointments were: Moin Al-Hafiz, who is minister plenipotentiary at the Foreign Ministry, adviser for international cooperation in sports and youth welfare; Abdul Elah Al-Dalak director general of administrative and financial affairs; Sultan Al-Suwailem, director general of the Institute for Preparing Leaders; Muhammad Al-Kharboush secretary-general of Youth Hostels; Muhammad Al-Sahli director general of IT; and Abdul Rahman Al-Yamani director of the department for investment and privatization of clubs.
Being the president of the Federation of Arab National Olympic Committees, Prince Nawaf appointed Saud Al-Abdul Aziz secretary-general of the federation and Muhammad Al-Mishal secretary-general of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee.
