La Cigale Hotel sets new standards

La Cigale Hotel, the property that witnessed the light in 2007 with tremendous efforts, was awarded the “World’s Ultimate Service Award in Hospitality” at the World’s Travel Awards — WTA. The final ceremony was held in New Delhi to conclude the hospitality accomplishments of 2012.
During the Grand Final Tour, Graham Cooke, president and founder of the WTA, considered that “our grand final winners have all demonstrated their world-class pedigree over this period, and are currently spearheading the global recovery of travel and tourism.”
To celebrate this accomplishment, La Cigale Hotel invited a number of its special clientele and media representatives to a gala dinner under the supervision of Chef Aurelien Lagorsse at Le Central Restaurant. Graham Cooke came especially from UK to take part of the event. Hatem Chater, regional director of the Middle East of the Leading Hotels of the World, was also present.
Qatar Tourism Authority supported the event.
During the ceremony, Housni El-Yaman, director of sales and marketing, said: “I believe that we have overcome a big challenge by bringing this great award from the West to the East.”
The director added: “Our achievement proves that an independent Qatari property can do a lot. Yes, La Cigale Hotel is considered nowadays a phenomenon that has set ultimate standards by providing services from A to Z”.
Khaled El-Chaar, director of human resources, said: “Behind this achievement, lay the efforts of more than 1000 committed employees who work hard to offer what exceeds the expectations”.
The “World’s Ultimate Service Award in Hospitality” award distinguishes La Cigale Hotel on the map of tourism as a symbol landmark that presents complete services from luxurious rooms and suites, multi-purpose ballrooms and meeting rooms, business, leisure & recreational facilities, to the 11 world-class food and beverage outlets featuring versatile specialized cuisines and extensive entertainments choices.
