This refers to the report, “Coalition forces pledge to stabilize Aden, other cities.” (July 31)
Good signs coming in from the Saudi led-coalition that is fighting to reinstate Yemen’s legitimate government.
Lately, the posture that Saudi Arabia has taken to counter Iran’s expanding but sinister designs is like taking the bull by its horns. It’s time to get the Houthis, or should I say Iran’s proxy soldiers, out of Yemen to bring peace in the country and the region as a whole.
I think it will take time as Houthis may not heed to the coalition advice to get out of Sanaa or give any respect to the UN resolution calling for the rebels to allow the legitimate government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to assume power in a smooth manner.
If might is right, the Houthis must be by now getting the heat of the coalition might. — Abdel Razzaq, Bahrain
