In line with its CSR beliefs, LG Electronics once again organized an iftar party for members and children of the Al Bir charity organization in Jeddah along with LG media club members. The event took place at Shallal theme park; the event included a speech accompanied by traditional Ramadan food and lots of activities and prizes for the children.
John Lee, president of LG Electronics KSA, in his speech welcomed the invitees. The evening concluded with kids taking various rides at the park.
Lee said: "It gives us great pleasure to have the presence of visitors from Al Bir charity organization for the iftar. This is our way of activating the CSR plan informally, and we hope to see more opportunities for interacting with our media friends in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah, as well as the key charity organizations in the Kingdom in the near future.
Lee added: "We are also thankful to our media friends and appreciate all the efforts they exert to make our services and products known to KSA consumers. I thank everyone who attended this event for coming, and I wish them all a Happy and Blessed Ramadan."
A similar iftar event was held at Riyadh Sheraton hotel in the capital, where LG media club members and their families spent a memorable evening. According to Lee, "this is a good opportunity for us to welcome and meet our media club members & media friends especially during the holy month of Ramadan."
