Consistently rated by commentators, coaches and colleagues as the best footballer in the world and as one of the greatest players in the history of the game, Messi is the first football player in history to win four Ballons d’Or, which he won consecutively. Messi is undisputedly the best in the soccer world today. Messi has shown the world what passion and determination can achieve.
He is a master in his game, has broken world records, a fierce competitor, and has been around for the past 10 years. He is Barcelona’s leading scorer with 283 goals in all competitions. He created history by breaking the 40 year-old record of most goals scored in a calendar year by the German legend, Gerd Mueller. The sight of Messi in action on the field is a feast for the eyes for the soccer lovers around the world. His combination of speed, exceptional dribbling abilities, his near-perfect passing and effective left-footed artful finishing abilities that he has earned his fame all over the world.
