Training on teen problems

A training program on adolescence will be held for family social workers and other officials tonight at Jeddah’s Nobles Training Center.
The five-day program approved by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation provides courses for participating male and female school officials, teachers, counselors, coaches and family social center officials.
It aims to educate participants about ways to deal with the pressures teenagers experience, how to contain and deal positively with the changes and issues related to this stage.
Those who deal with teenagers have to be aware that their behaviors are related to the phase of physical and mental changes they are going through, said program supervisor Abdul Fattah Marouf.
