Prince Alwaleed awards SR 160,000 to Al-Najmah Sports Club

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received players and members of Al-Najmah Sports Club, chaired by Abdulaziz Al-Zunaidy, at KHC headquarters yesterday
Prince Alwaleed met with Al-Zunaidy who was accompanied by the team’s delegation. The two discussed the latest updates of the club and their achievements.
The Prince stressed the need to support sports and the athletes as well as the development of clubs in Saudi Arabia and to embrace the young generation to hone their athletic skills and invest their time in useful activities.
As a reward, Prince Alwaleed awarded the club members and players with a total of SR 60,000 and an additional SR 100,000 for the club’s budget. This honor comes as the club achieved first place in the Qassim region championship for both football and volleyball teams.
In conclusion to the event, Al-Zunaidy thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragement for clubs and sport federations in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the team presented a trophy to Prince Alwaleed in recognition of his continued support for sport and athletes.
