LG staff support Jeddah blood donation drive

LG Electronics, together with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Hospital, organized a blood donation campaign as part of its ongoing commitment towards supporting the society for the third consecutive year.
The company dedicated special days whereby management and employees from its different departments, partners Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company & United Yousef Mohamed Naghi Company took part in this noble cause, the initiative saw a total of 125-150 donors who participated in the campaign. 
LG Electronics thanked the management and staff members of King Faisal Specialist Hospital for their kind support, cooperation and appreciation to make this year’s event another great success.
This is all not possible without extended support of Dr. Nabeela Mohammed Al-Baz, MD chairperson of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, blood bank director, Najeeb Yamani, director, Lamia Khan, Hassan Mustafa all from KFSHRC in Jeddah.
LG Electronics Regional CEO James Park arrived from Dubai to participate in this noble activity to encourage and appreciate all voluntarily donors for their active contribution.
“The effort is expected to encourage our employees, who have shown extreme enthusiasm to donate blood, to heighten their responsibilities as good citizens and to be active participants in the extra-curricular activities, especially those of humanitarian and social nature. Part of our corporate program is to ensure we give something back to the community we serve” said John Lee, managing director of LG Electronics KSA. Underlining the importance of donation, John Lee appreciated the efforts of the employees who volunteered to donate blood for the third consecutive year.
The blood donation campaign took place at King Faisal Hospital (Al-Takasousi) yesterday.
The LG staff brought their families and friends to support this initiative.
The initial response received from LG Electronics employees and partners, Al-Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company Employees and United Yousef Mohamed Naghi Company employees was over whelming, said a resource from LG office.
