From today to May 10, LuLu Hypermarket’s hot food and other sections join forces to bring Saudis and expatriates its annual culinary festival, which is designed to celebrate its diverse range of food.
The 17-day festival opens at 8:30 p.m. on April 24 at LuLu Hypermarkets, Murabba.
Muhzin Al-Marzooki, director of public relations, Dammam Municipality, will be the chief guest at the inauguration of the Food Fiesta Campaign in Alkhobar.
The LuLu food festival is split into six “mouth-watering portions” this year.
From today to Friday, there is a Continental Fest, wherein customers can enjoy from steaks and grilled foods to pastas and snacks.
On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a Meat Fest, where LuLu will exhibit a wide range of local and imported meats and meat-related food products.
For the first time in Saudi Arabia, LuLu is conducting ‘Vita Days; on April 29 and 30, with a range of items for helping to support and improve health and vitality gathered from across the globe.
Celebrating the flavor of biryani dishes, LuLu is holding a ‘Wah! Biryani Fest’ where it is presenting an amalgamation of various kinds of biryani.
This festival is from May 1 to 3.
There will be a Saudi Fest & Bake Fest from May 4 to 7.
People can taste many gastronomic delights ranging from Arabic and Indian cuisines to Continental and Oriental delicacies, cooked and supplied by local chefs and presented as street food.
Sweets prepared in the bakery section will be among its special attractions.
LuLu is conducting an ‘Oriental Fest’ from May 8 to 10, with its hot food section ready to serve Chinese and Thai foods.
Those interested in munching their way around will be taken around on a journey ranging from Indian curries to Italian pizza and pasta, Mediterranean kebabs to English fish and chips, Spanish paella and Thai delicacies, and from Japanese sushi to African and Caribbean cuisines as among the starters.
For families, there will be a host of live cooking demonstrations and workshops. The visitors may get their culinary questions answered at the festival food clinic.
During its festival weeks, LuLu’s roastery, garments, electronics, home appliances, and household departments will be offering special discounts and deals.
Lulu Hypermarket will host a cookery contest on April 24, where the festival will be marked by open air culinary cooking workshops and cookery demonstrations led by men, women and children on the gastronomic block.
