Prince Nawaf chairs sports ministers council meeting in Beirut

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman received General Presidency of Youth Welfare President Prince Nawaf bin Faisal at his palace in Beirut yesterday. During the reception, the prince conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, to the Lebanese president.
Earlier in the day, Prince Nawaf chaired the opening session of 36th Meeting of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers in Beirut.
Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Fauna Al-Saleh and Arab youth and sport ministers participated in the event. In his speech during the opening session, Prince Nawaf thanked Lebanese president and officials for hosting this meeting.
Prince Nawaf stressed that this meeting will include a number of youth programs for developing their skills and capabilities.
Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sport Faisal Krami was named the new chairman for the meeting.
In his speech, the Lebanese minister thanked Prince Nawaf bin Faisal on the efforts exerted during the previous session of the council.
The ministers council also had closed-door session, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
