Air Arabia is look forwarding to expanding its operations to more airports in the Kingdom, says a top official.
“Air Arabia will continue to offer enormous choice for customers seeking to travel from Saudi Arabia to the UAE and Egypt, and beyond,” Group CEO Adel Ali said during a recent visit to the Kingdom.
His remarks came as Air Arabia celebrates nine years of successful operations in Saudi Arabia.
The low-cost career currently operates more than 88 weekly non-stop services from its two hubs – Sharjah (UAE) and Alexandria (Egypt) — to eight destinations in Saudi Arabia.
Air Arabia started operations to the Kingdom with regular services to Jeddah in 2004.
Since then, reflecting the overall growth of the Saudi aviation sector, the airline has seen increasing demand for the appealing value for money product it offers.
Adel Ali said the airline is committed to using its infrastructure to improve connectivity with most major destinations in KSA.
“The development of the aviation sector over the last decade has been remarkable, and Air Arabia is proud to have been a part of that journey,” Ali was quoted as saying in a statement received here.
“We entered Saudi Arabia with regular services to Jeddah, and we will continue to drive significant value to our customers in the Kingdom, with our philosophy of offering value for money and greater connectivity to destinations across the airline’s strong route network,” said the CEO.
“The Kingdom has been a market focus for us, and given the vast potential that the country’s aviation sector offers, we look forward to expand our operations to more airports in this vibrant market,” he said.
Over the past several months, Air Arabia continued to demonstrate its unmatched commitment to the Kingdom, increasing frequency to several destinations such as Qassim and Yanbu from Sharjah.
The airline recently announced the launch regular services to Abha, its eighth destination in the Kingdom.
“The strengthening of our route network in Saudi Arabia testifies the significance we attach to the Kingdom, and our business strategy is to be present where our customers want us to be. That said, Air Arabia will continue to offer enormous choice for customers seeking to travel from the Kingdom to the UAE and Egypt, and beyond.” Ali said.
Destinations that Air Arabia serves in Saudi Arabia are: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Yanbu, Qassim, Medina, Taif and Abha.
In addition to the non-stop services, the airline offers great connectivity for outbound passengers from Saudi Arabia to many destinations across the South Asian ubcontinent and CIS region.
