Mudassir, Dawood, Irshad shine in Al Hamrani FUCHS Cup

KFSH Blues routed Shouraim by 51 runs, in round 7 Al-Kharj Zone cricket league match for the Al-Hamrani FUCHS Cup organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) recently.
In a rain-marred 15-over match, KFSH Blues scored 203 for 4. Irshad Mubashir (56), Nasir Abbasi (51), Ayaz (40) and Saqib Abbasi 28 were the main run-getters. Zeeshan and Mudassir took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Shouraim was restricted to 152 for 9. Mudassir (33), Amin (24) Waqas and Saeed 23 each. Syed Usman and Abdul Malik took 3 wickets each.
In another match of the same zone, Pak Shaheen beat Lahore Badshah by 10 runs. Pak Shaheen scored 199 off 18 overs. Shoaib Nazir took 3 wickets while Yassir Maqbool and Ali Shahid grabbed 2 wickets each for the bowling side.
Lahore Badshah managed 189 in reply. Yassir was the top scorer with 85 runs. Wahab supported him with 43.
In the Huraymala Zone, Riyadh Fighters beat Green Bangla by 6 wickets. Green Bangla made first used of the track and put up 167 off 16 overs. Taqi picked 3 wickets and Hameed got 2. Fighters achieved their target in the last over and won.
Hameed played brilliantly and made 82. Combined XI thrashed KFSH Knight Riders by 10 wickets. Elsewhere, Knight Riders batted first and scored 138 for 7. Dawood destroyed the Knight Riders batting order and bagged 6 wickets.
Combined XI achieved the target off 9 overs. Usman and Naeem played well and remained unbeaten on 74 and 54 respectively. Combined XI won by 10 wickets.
Stallions beat Attieh Steels by 8 wickets. Attieh Steels scored 156. Amir took 4 wickets while Adnan and Sohail got 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Stallions achieved their target off 13.3 overs. Asif (72) and Junaid (56) were the main scorers.
In the Riyadh Zone, Seham beat Lahore Badshah Green by 5 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green batted first and scored 96 off 15 overs. Zeeshan contributed 22. Alamgir and Majid got 2 wickets each. Seham reached their target off 12.5 overs. Muhammed remained unbeaten with 16. Jaffar and Jahangir picked 2 wickets each.
Yousufzai CC beat Grundfos by 5 runs. Yousafzai CC made 148. Hamid (37) and Asif (26) did their best. Yassir took 2. Grundfos made 143 in reply. Yassir (69) and (Joji) 32 were the main scorers.
In another match, Punjab Stars scored 238 for 4 off 20 overs. Irshad scored a match winning 118 supported by Shakeel’s 61. Imran XI was all out for 126. Irshad, Waseem and Bakhtawar took 2 wickets each. Punjab won by 112 runs.
Sulaiman XI beat Tigers by 29 runs. Sulaiman XI batted first and scored 192. Ejaz (36), Mohsin (29), Adeel (28) and Zulfiqar (22) were among the runs. Tigers scored 163 in reply. Ejaz also performed well with the ball and took 4 wickets. Naveed got 2.
Majlis-e-Pakistan beat Crescent by 44 runs. Majlis-e-Pakistan scored 140 off 16 overs. Abdullah was the top scorer with 44 runs. Crescent in reply scored 96. Ahmed made 30. Faisal picked 4 wickets while Waqas got 2.
TCS Riyadh beat Royal Strikers by 29 runs. TCS Riyadh scored 145. Ashiq (70) and Ankit (24) were among the runs. Fenil took 3 wickets while Subair and Dileep got 2 each. Strikers were restricted to 116. Fenil was the top scorer with 33 runs. For TCS, Vamshi bowled and took 4 wickets. He was supported by Sevu who bagged a couple.
In Al Qassim Zone, Shaheen XI beat Azad XI. Azad XI batted first and scored 147. Ikram made 65. Samiullah grabbed 4 wickets. Shaheen XI achieved the target in the last over. Samiullah made 34 runs.
Sialkot beat Pak XI by 50 runs. Sialkot batted first and scored 223 for 1 off 20 overs. Mudassir remained unbeaten on 115. Asad got 78. Pak XI were all out for 176. Waqar (53) and Amir (46) were among the runs. Ahmad took 3 wickets.
Friends XI beat Al Dawliya XI. Friends XI scored 165. Qari got 38. In reply Al Dawliya were all out for 146.
Due to the uncertain weather in Riyadh, some of the matches were washed out while in the other games the overs were reduced.
