Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, said that the Kingdom is witnessing solidarity, collective national action and humanitarian spirit in accordance with the Islamic faith. The prince was speaking on the occasion of the 27th board of directors meeting of the Disabled Children’s Association (DCA), which was held at the DCA’s headquarters recently.
Prince Sultan, who is the chairman of the DCA’s board of directors, expressed his appreciation over DCA’s achievements last year which, he said, saw improved services and closer relations with the different sectors of society.
This has, the prince said, contributed to the all-round progress in the general health of the Saudi society, which is enjoying stability, as well as peace in the region.
He said that the DCA is making great strides in its institutional approach by observing the highest standards of transparency and financial control as certified by the chartered accountant assigned by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Prince Sultan later launched a photography exhibition, which focused on society’s perception of disability and disabled persons and which was attended by several photographers.
