CareFusion solutions on display at Saudi Health

CareFusion, a leading global medical technology company, will highlight its medication safety solutions at Saudi Health, taking place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
CareFusion specializes in technologies that help improve patient safety and reduce the cost of health care.
CareFusion’s medication safety technologies that will be on display at Saudi Health include medication dispensing technologies that help ensure the right patient is getting the right dose at the right time, to infusion pump technology that alerts clinicians of potential programming errors when infusion parameters are outside of the hospital’s “normal” range.
New and innovative products for the Kingdom that will be on display include the dispensing product introduction of Rowa technologies, the new Pyxis ES platform and the BlisPack system.
CareFusion will be present at Saudi Health as part of a joint exhibition with two distribution partners — Hospital Automation Technology (HAT) and Banaja Holdings, part of the Saudi Import Company. CareFusion and these two distribution partners will be present at booth Number 425-2.
The distribution partners have rights to sell certain CareFusion products across the Kingdom.
HAT has rights to distribute Rowa technologies, the BlisPack system, Pyxis technologies for selected customers and Metro mobile carts.
The Rowa Vmax system is an intelligent automated storage and retrieval system for high-performing hospitals that offers twice the capacity of conventional storage systems with dispensing speeds of only eight to 12 seconds.
The BlisPack system is the first robotic system for creating unit doses from blister sheets within the hospital pharmacy.
The Metro 1760Rx cart enables mobile access to real-time patient information with secure and accurate point-of-care medication delivery.
All of these products are on display at Saudi Health.
Banaja is an existing distribution partner for Alaris infusion products from CareFusion and the companies have now extended their agreement to also include the Pyxis dispensing product family.
The Alaris System is the first infusion system to provide bi-directional health care IT interoperability for both large volume and syringe pumps, and with the optional Alaris Data Analytics for Continuous Qualitative Improvement, the system helps enhance patient safety through reports based on the hospitals use of the system.
The Pyxis MedStation ES system is the first centralized, enterprise-wide control of automated medication management.
The Pyxis SupplyStation system is a secure, automated supply management solution for the operating room, procedural areas or patient care areas.
The CareFusion Knowledge Portal platform collects data from CareFusion’s Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets, Alaris infusion technologies AVEA ventilators and simplifies it into actionable intelligence to help improve patient care.
