ICC Irfan Basha, Zinda Tilismat, Deccan Knights win in JCA Premier League

Zinda Tilismat beat Micro engineering by 37 runs, Deccan Knights routed Jawar Al-Jazirah by 7 wickets, ICC Irfan Basha thrashed Kanoo by 61 runs while Natco lost on technical grounds during last week’s matches of the Premier Division cricket league sponsored by the ACE Travels & Tours and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association.
In the first match, Zinda Tilismat batted first and put up 210 runs in its allotted overs. Later they restricted Micro Engineering to 173 for 5. For Zinda Tilismat Javed hammered 74 runs, Yaqoob contributed 60 and Sarfaraz got 27 runs. Mujahed claimed 3 for 42 runs.
For Micro Engineering Jawwad top scored with 67 runs, Sharief got 25 and Mujahed remained unbeaten with 23.
In the second match, Jawar Al -Jazirah put up 171 for 6, which Deccan Knights rattled up for the loss of 3 wickets with 4 overs to spare. For Al Jazira, Sajid (50) and Asim (31) were the top scorers.
Imran and Athar claimed 2 wickets each for 33 and 42 runs respectively. Najeeb and Sohail provided a reasonable start of 48 runs in 5 overs for the Knightmen. Najeeb scored an unbeaten 68 along with Imran who also was not out on 34. Adnan bagged 2 for 33.
Elsewhere,ICC Irfan Basha scored 208 for 8 and later skittled Kanoo for a paltry 147 runs. For ICC, Irfan (29), Babar (35), Raheel (38), Zameer (21) and Umar (37) were the main contributors. For Kanoo, Sami, Najam and Mohair claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply Kanoo were all out for 147 runs. Tabrez (24) and Shani (39) did their best. Raheel and Nabeel had 2 wickets each.
