Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Salman yesterday held talks with visiting British Defense Secretary Philip Hammond on prospects of expanding defense cooperation between the two countries.
“The two sides discussed prospects of strengthening cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in addition to major regional and international developments,” SPA said.
At the outset of the meeting, Prince Salman welcomed Hammond and his accompanying delegation. The British minister expressed his happiness over visiting Saudi Arabia to meet him.
The talks were attended by top officials including Deputy Defense Minister Prince Fahd bin Abdullah, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, head of the crown prince’s court, and Chief of Staff Gen. Hussein Al-Qubail.
