Butler, Sleep High advance; Woodrock in final

Butler-Kia’s newly acquired big man Panganiban made his presence felt inside the paint and scored 23 points to help his team qualify for the Inter-Company Reinforced semifinal with an unblemished record after a 79-67 victory over Fuji Elevator while Woodrock beat Sadafco 63-51 to reach the final in Inter-Company Bonafide in 2013 Perfetto Basketball Tournament organized by Industrial Sports Association (ISA) at Industrial City Dawa Office (ICDO) court in Industrial City Phase I on the outskirts of Jeddah.
Panganiban easily outclassed the big guys from the opposing team scoring 11 of his 23 total points to claim his first best player award.
Capina helped out Panganiban with 14 points, Dela Paz added 12 while Greason scored only 4 points but the most important help he did was his tremendous shot blocking ability and a great rebounding skills.
Jeff Regondola, famous for his graceful moves on the hard court, scored 24 points including 14 in the fourth quarter while Abril Mabarit added 22 and Joseph Bautista 15 as Sleep High advanced to the Inter-Commercial Division semifinal with a 94-81 triumph over host team Perfetto.
Racaza started the first quarter with a bang, scoring 9 points for Woodrock which drew a sizzling finishing touch in the second half from Bascones and Badajos who combined for 18 points along in addition to their tremendous defense on the back court .
Bacones once again won the best player of the game accolade with his prolific scoring especially from beyond the arc. Sadafco’s Malinao, Virtusio and Lalog tried to hang on in the fourth quarter with a combined 30 points and yet fell short.
