Petromin launches new fully synthetic high performance auto oil

Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and an advanced additive system, Petromin has developed Petromin A-1, a new fully synthetic high performance auto oil.
Speaking at the product launch event in Jeddah, Samir Nawar, president and CEO of Petromin, said: “We are the first local company to produce synthetic oils suitable for both for gasoline and diesel engines, which we have pioneered for almost a decade.
“We have now upgraded our previous research and development to make an industry breakthrough with Petromin A-1, a flagship product that will proudly carry the Petromin brand name throughout the Kingdom and to more than 40 countries in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Far Asia where we export our products.”
First introduced in 2005 under the name of SAFARI 5W40 and relaunched in 2010 as Super Synthetic in all applicable viscosity grades, Petromin A-1 “today is the most advanced auto oil suitable for all types of passenger car.”
Fast-spreading in the engine (90 percent faster than mineral oils), Petromin A-1 claims to meet the highest OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and ensures power, protection and performance.
These features are highlighted by quick start up; 20 percent longer oil life; better protection of engine components with reduced friction and corrosion, resulting in 75 percent less wear at all times and thus prolonging engine life three to four times compared to regular lubricants.
Complementing its wide range of high quality products, Petromin claims to be the only company in the region that provides its customers with a highly reliable used-oil analysis service, including a lab on wheels that visits customers’ premises and job sites, enabling them to plan routine maintenance and extend the life of the lubricant and machines, thus increasing equipment availability and profitability.
