Entrepreneurs share their success stories at BRJ’s new program

In line with its efforts to support young entrepreneurs, Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an initiative of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJCI), is organizing a meeting with successful and experienced entrepreneurs to share their knowledge and experiences with owners of new start-up projects. By sharing success stories, the program aims to develop skills and create solutions for the difficulties that face new entrepreneurs when they start their own businesses.
Mohammed Hakami, development executive director of ALJCI, explained that the program will be organized every two weeks, and will host top male and female entrepreneurs who will share their experiences with young people interested in starting their own projects.
The sixteen key speakers are Mohammed Abu Azza, Qaswara Al Khatib, Suraqa Al Khatib, Abdullah Mando, Lowai Al Sharif, Ayman Jamal, Miyar Salih, Ahmed Al Muhairy, Bayan Abu Zinada, Nuha Yousuf, Mutasim Mukhtar, Osama Nitto, Mazin Al Dharrab, Hussam Al Qurashi, Hani Khoja and Issa Bogary.
In addition, the program will tour certain areas of the Kingdom. Program episodes will also be broadcast via BRJ channel on YouTube and other social media channels.
The first meeting titled “Entrepreneurship is not easy” held in Riyadh was introduced by Mazin Al Dharrab, an entrepreneur and founder of several e-marketing and IT companies. In his presentation, Al Dharrab addressed the difficulties that could face young entrepreneurs and means of overcoming the obstacles.
The program has been warmly received by Saudi youth and has witnessed the participation of 1,120 males and females on average during each of the sessions held so far.
Since its establishment in 2004, BRJ has supported 26,832 small projects and created 294,885 job opportunities for young males and females through its branches in the Kingdom. Meanwhile, BRJ’s international branches, which were launched in 2009, have helped create 74,801 job opportunities.
