Momen Int’l School 10-over cricket under way

RCA (Riyadh Cricket Association) started a new 10-over tournament sponsored by Al-Momen International School.
Thirteen matches were played in the first round with the final set for today.
In Group A, Pak Shaheen beat Sulaiman XI by 46 runs. Batting first Pak Shaheen scored 138. Abdul Wahid made 49 and Abdul Waheed 48. Sulaiman XI in reply managed 92. Iftikhar took 3 wickets for Pak Shaheen. Green Bangla beat RAC by 10 wickets. RAC scored 84 in 10 overs. Jakir took 3 wickets and Mithu 2. Green Bangla achieved the target in 4.4 overs. Openers Mithu and Kakon remained unbeaten on 46 and 32 respectively. In another match, Pak Shaheen got better of RAC and won by 9 wickets. RAC scored 94. Pak Shaheen achieved the target in 4.2 overs. Ibrar made 47 and Waheed 29. Green Bangla beat Sulaiman XI by 50 runs. Batting first Green Bangla scored 127/2. Kakon made 65 and Mithu 43. Sulaiman XI was restricted to 77. Mashuk took 3 wickets while Mithu got 2.
In Group B, Riyadh Fighters beat KFSH Blues by 16 runs. Batting first Riyadh Fighters made 137/6. Yasir scored 54 and Hameed 26. Rizwan took 2 wickets. KFSH Blues in reply fell short of target by 16 runs. Rizwan made 53, Irshad 31 and Saqib 21. Taqi and Majid took 1 wicket each. In the second match, KFSH Blues beat Lahore Badshah Green by 8 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green scored 87. For KFSH Blues Nadeem Babar bowled well and took 3 wickets. KFSH Blues got the target in 8.2 overs. Rizwan made 42 and Nadeem Babar remained not out on 21. In the last match of the group, Riyadh Fighters beat Lahore Badshah Green by 8 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green scored 103. Riyadh Fighters achieved the target in 7.4 overs. Fahad and Hameed remained unbeaten on 60 and 34 respectively.
In Group C, Shouraim beat Lahore Badshah while Lahore Badshah got better of Yusafzayi CC.
In Group D, Royal Strikers beat KFSH Knight Riders. Royal Strikers scored 104. Sahil made 51. Knight Riders in reply managed 88. Bilal made 43. In the second match, KFSH Knight Riders beat Friends XI. Batting first, Knight Riders scored 140. Raza made 71, Bilal 34 and Hassan 22. Friends XI in reply scored 95. Amir Holidays beat Friends XI by 131 runs. Amir Holidays scored mammoth 195. Kamran made 54, Irfan 51 and Imran 31. Friends XI bundled out for 64. Faisal and Nabeel took 2 wickets each. In another match, Amir Holidays beat Royal Strikers by 104 runs. Amir Holidays scored 194/2. Sami Arshad made 89 and Kamran Hadi 85. Royal Strikers in reply made 90. Faisal, Arsalan and Nabeel grabbed 2 wickets each.
