A tiger was on the loose in Az Zira’ah neighborhood in the city, according to Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam, spokesman for Madinah Police Department.
When police arrived, they established a security cordon. The owner of the tiger eventually arrived and got hold of the animal.
He was then summoned to the police station, and was asked to sign an undertaking that he will be held responsible for the animal. A notice was also sent to the relevant agencies on the matter.
