Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) has sponsored a marketing festival for productive families during Ramadan, in accordance with the company’s CSR initiatives, and emboldened by its belief that community service is a duty, and not an option.
The upcoming festival, under the slogan “Partnership of responsibility toward building thought — Made in Saudi Arabia,” provides an opportunity for families to showcase and market their products.
The event, being held from Ramadan 21--24 at the Hilton Hotel Hall, is taking place with the support of Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.
Faysal Alaquil, director of business development and head of CSR at CPC, said: “The sponsorship comes as part of CPC’s programs to foster descent work culture, in addition to granting family members the opportunity to be economically independent.”
Alaquil added: “As a result of continuous and constant support for the productive families, today we see this excellent festival happening, that prompted us to participate in this event. We contribute to the development of Saudi family businesses by providing an outlet to sell their home-made products.”
Alaquil said: “This idea had a positive impact on citizens’ lives through discovering their hard work for the benefit of society. It also made them self-reliant and valued the spirit of education for the community improvement.”
