Test cricket

Test cricket is a different ball game altogether and especially when it is played between England and Australia. It carries additional prestige and value, when it becomes a competition between these two old rivals in front of enthusiastic spectators, who cheer both sides alike.
I must congratulate Michael Clarke, the Australian captain and his team for their fine showing at the third Test now in progress at Old Trafford. I always had confidence in them as much better cricketers than what we saw in the first two Test matches.
It is game on now, as the Australian top order is starting to fire all cylinders. The remaining Tests are going to be very interesting and England should be advised to forget about its dream of a ‘white wash’, at least, for the time being.
