Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Sunday held talks with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on major regional and international issues by telephone, the Saudi Press Agency said.
The UN chief thanked King Abdullah for donating $100 million to strengthen the international counterterrorism center under the United Nations.
King Abdullah proposed the center during an anti-terror conference in Riyadh, which was held in February 2005.
