My wife, seated in a wheelchair, and I performed tawaf with utmost ease and comfort on the Mataf Bridge for the elderly and the sick on Saturday. However, we saw a sea of pilgrims circumambulating around the Holy Kaaba. As we crossed Maqam-e-Ibrahim, unintentionally I started murmuring O Allah reward these people for the service they extend to pilgrims; O Allah bless these people for taking care of pilgrims; O Allah amply compensate these people for their noble deeds.
May Allah accept my prayers. Construction of the Mataf Bridge is in fact an unexpected relief not only for the disabled and aged pilgrims but even for not very old people who are suffering from chronic pain in the lower parts of the body. — Abu Farah, Jeddah
