NPC Pipers down Paparotti in Kingdom Dream Games 2

Melvin Mamaclay scored 33 big points to lead NPC Pipers to a 87-79 victory against the visiting Paparotti Riyadh team in the Premier League elimination round of the Kingdom Dream Games Part 2 last Friday at the Al-Nahda Sports Club.

Mamaclay also converted four three-point shots eclipsing the 23 points of Paparotti’s start player Ricardo Gracilla. Also contributing to the NPC win were Anthony Babong and Perzeus Singco who scored 15 points apiece.

United Bicolanos’ Lawin Sena was unstoppable lifting the United Bicolanos squad past Pipstrit boys, 82-60, in the non-rated division. Sena scored big points while teammates Joven Buemia and Mark Millena contributed 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Also in this division, Mustang demolished Dammam Warriors, 70-56, while Nesma trounced Bisdak, 84-74. Surigao Mountain View won over Bangus Restoran, 74-68, and Daggers beat GRCF, 75-55. In the Intercompany League B, Saudi Ready Mix edged Saipem team by three points, 94-91.

Games this Friday pit the FAEC Seniors against NPC Pipers in the Premier League and Bangus Restoran against FAEC Juniors in the open rated division. Flour Arabia will face Saudi Ready Mix in the Intercompany League A while Hempel Paints will measure its strength against Fugro Suhaimi.

In the non-rated event, the scheduled games are Bisdak vs. Jakals, Khobar Warrior vs. Quiapo, United Bicolanos vs. Al Manifa, and Shade vs. Al Jazera Raptors.

The Kingdom Dream Games Part 2 is organized by the Filipino Arabian Basketball Association (FABA) headed by its chairman Abdulazziz “Jawo” Dizon and Commissioner Ely Panahon. Its main sponsors are Fahad Alireza Engineering Consultant and Hempel Paints Saudi Arabia.
