Bena, a charitable organization for orphans in the Eastern Province, announced Thursday that it has deposited SR224,400 in the accounts of orphans for new school year requirements.
Speaking to Arab News, Ali Al-Asmari, financial and administration manager at the organization, said that the money has been deposited so that orphans can buy items they need for this new school year.
“There are 901 orphans in our organization who we take care of. Our job is to help them to know they can happily begin their school year,” Al-Asmari said.
