RCJY signs SR422m deals for Ras Al-Khair, Yanbu projects

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) has signed two deals worth more than SR422 million for the implementation of projects in Ras Al-Khair and Yanbu cities, local media said.
The deals, signed by RCJY Chairman Prince Saud bin Abdualla bin Thinyyan Al-Saud, were aimed to develop Area B in Ras Al-Khair industrial city and construction of housing units in Yanbu industrial city.
The first deal, signed with Al-Harbi Trading and Contracting Co., is related to develop Area B in Ras Al-Khair whose scope of work includes demolishing, digging, refilling, implementation of road networks, floods and rain disposal networks, distribution of water allocated for drinking, industrial operations, irrigation, and fire-fighting.
It also includes construction of power and telecom networks, street lighting and traffic control system.
The contract, which is for a period of three years, brought the value of deals signed by RCJY for infrastructure projects in Ras al-Khair to SR1.44 billion, the media said.
The second deal, which was signed with Bong Kyung Construction Co., is related to the implementation of a number of housing units in Al-Jar district, Yanbu Industrial City, which comes within the context of RCJY’s program to build 1,288 units in the city.
