RIYADH: Riyadh Fighters scored a thrilling two-wicket win over Hyderabad Sunrisers in the Sikander Farooqui Memorial Cricket Tournament, Huraymala Zone, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.
Sunrisers batted first and put on board 152 runs. Imran Younus did most of the damage and picked up 4 wickets. Fighters achieved their target after 18.4 overs. Hameed (28), Imran Younus (22) and Imran Butt (21) made the win possible.
In another match of the same zone, Hyderabadi Warriors got the better of Stallions by 6 wickets. Stallions managed 127 runs. Shakoor (48) and Asif (21) were the main scorers. Feroz and Mubashir took 3 wickets each while Hamid got 2. Warriors achieved their target in 16.4 overs. Imroz and Waseem scored 34 and 33 respectively. Mannan got 22. Amir took 2 wickets.
Crescent edged past Green Bangla by 15 runs. Crescent batted first and scored 159 for 8. Faisal (44) and Mubashir (34) were the top run getters. Amir and Jahangir picked 2 wickets each. Green Bangla in reply managed 144 for 9. Jakir and Ameen scored 26 each. Faisal picked 4 wickets while Mubashir got 2.
Riyadh Warriors beat Thales by 21 runs. Warriors scored 136 runs. Abdul Gafoor (31), Majid (23) and Shakeel (22) were the main contributors. Aziz took 4 wickets. Thales in reply managed 115. Abdul Gafoor, Taufeeq and Javed picked 2 wickets each.
Pakistan Falcons routed Sulaiman XI by 126 runs. Pakistan Falcons scored a mammoth 318. Tila Yusafzayi scored 128 and Yasir Ahmed 124. Sulaiman XI replied with 192. Mudassir (48), Shoaib (29) and Sulaiman (28) tried to make a fight it. Tila, Yassir, Bilal and Abdullah took 2 wickets each.
Al Kharj Zone: CKK trounced Amir Holidays by 162 runs. Thanks to Abul Basit Butt’s 72 runs out of a total of 286. He was supported by Sajid (45) and Nouman (33).
Amir Holidays in reply was bundled out for 124. Nabeel bowled superbly and took 4 wickets. Nadeem and Imran bagged 2 wickets each.
In another match, Pak Shaheen got better of Lahore Badshah by 7 wickets. Lahore Badshah batted first and scored 276. Abdul Wahab and Abdulaziz took 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Pak Shaheen achieved the target in 28.5 overs. Abdul Qadir (69), Ibrar (61), Waheed (59) and Wahid (54) were the main run getters.
In Riyadh Zone: Imran XI sailed past Royal Strikers by 8 wickets. Royal Strikers scored 122. Imran XI achieved their target for the loss of 2 wickets. Majid (50), Israr (40) and Hazrat Hussain (28) made the win possible.
Lahore Badshah Green scored 161 for 9. Afzal (30) and Farman (21). Wahid took 4 wickets while Inam got 3. Pak Eagles replied with 137. Farooq (32), Saqib (28) and Wahid (21) were the top scorers. Waseem took 5 wickets while Jahangir got 3. Lahore Badshah won by 24 runs.
Kohsar Cricket Club got walkover against Pakistani Strikers.
TBCC ousts Pak Force by 6 wickets. Pak Force scored 155. Faisal took 3 wickets. TBCC achieved their target in 19.4 overs. Shareef (28), Khader (25) and Faisal (22) made the win possible.
AKCC scored a comfortable 59-run win over Delhi Dare Devils. AKCC scored 181. Shahbaz hit 77 and Aimyal 36. Delhi Dare Devils scored 132 in reply. Ammad took 4 wickets.
Punjab Stars scored 205. Noman (65), Wasim (42), Touseef (37) and Rashid (27) were the main contributors.Yasir took 2 wickets. Grundfos managed 145. Yassir (47), Imran (40) and Faris (25) were among the runs. Saeed took 2 wickets. Punjab won by 60 runs.
