Prominent Pak expat Masood Javaid dies

A noted educationist and prominent member of the Pakistani community, Masood Javaid, passed away following a heart attack Tuesday evening. He was 59.
He suffered cardiac arrest while he was exercising at a gym that proved fatal.
Javaid had served as the chairman of the Parents’ Committee of Pakistan International School Jeddah-Aziziyah, during which he revitalized parents’ role in running the affairs of the school.
Before his death, Javaid was the chairman of Kashmir Committee, KSA chapter, and director of Gharnatah International School.
Javaid has left behind his wife, three sons and one daughter.
His funeral prayer will be held at Masjid Ta'awun in Aziziyah after Dhuhr. Gharnatah International school will remain closed on Wednesday (today) to mourn his death.
