Crescent, Pak Shaheen, Yusafzayi in RCA semis

RIYADH: Crescent will clash with Pak Shaheen while Amir Holidays takes on Yusafzayi Cricket Club in the semifinals Chairman Division of the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, held under the auspices of the Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.
In the last round of the Super 8 matches, Amir Holiday got the better of Lahore Badshah by 34 runs in the other encounter Crescent routed Sulaiman XI by 85 runs.
In a high-scoring match, Amir Holidays piled up 305 for 5 in their allotted overs against the Lahore Badshahs. Thanks to a blistering 130 runs, which came from the blade of Irfan Mushtaq. Sami Arshad supported him with 85 runs followed by Umar (60) and Kamran (25). Fahad Munir bagged 4 wickets.
Lahore Badshah tried to make a fight of it but were bowled out for 274. Fahad Malik staged a lone battle with a brilliant innings of 184. Fahad Munir (35) and Zahidin (21) were the other scorers. Saeed picked up 2 wickets.
In the other match, Imran Raja scored a match winning innings of 109, which helped Crescent put on board 209 for 3 against Sulaiman. Omer (48) and Mohsin (34) were the other run getters. Mudassir got 2 wickets.
In reply Sulaiman were bundled out for 124. Mudassir (26) and Shoaib (22) put up some fight. Omer bagged 3 wickets.
Elsewhere, Star XI scored a thrilling two-wicket win over Yusafzayi, which scored 202 after first use of the track. Bilal picked up 3 wickets. Majid, Yassir and Amjad got 2 each. Star XI reached their target during the last over of the match. Yassir was the highest scorer with 80 runs. Bilala (40) and Afaq (30) were the other run getters.
In the President Division semifinals, its Shouraim vs CKK; KFSH Blues vs Lahore Lions.
In the President Division, KFSH Green beat Green Bangla by 37 runs. KFSH Green batted first and scored 192 runs. Noor (40) Shafeeq (32), Tanweer (28) and Rafaqat (25) were the main contributors. Al Amin picked 3 wickets while Amin, Mashuq and Mitho grabbed 2 wickets each. Green Bangla in reply managed 155 for 9. Al Amin (34), Mithu (27) and Kakon (27) put up some fight. Tahir Abbasi bagged 3 wickets while Masnoor, Shafeeq and Suhail shard 6 wickets.
Lahore Lions eased past CKK by 5 wickets. CKK scored 185 runs. Kashif (77) and Imran (29) did their best. Lahore Lions achieved the target off 19.1 overs. Imran and Omar picked 2 wickets each.
KFSH Blues trounced Stallions by 7 wickets. Stallions elected to bat first and scored 173 for 6. Imran (56), Adeel (42) and Furqan (22) were the main scorers. Abdul Malik picked 2 wickets. KFSH Blues raced to the target in 12.2 overs thanks to a great unbeaten innings of 95 by Irshad Mubashir. Qaiser and Khurram also played well and added 36 and 27 runs respectively. Imran, Nisar and Irfan picked up a wicket each.
Shouraim thrashed Pak Fighters by 179 runs. Shouraim posted 277. Zeeshan and Rizwan played blistering knocks of 102 and 105 respectively. Inam added quick-fire 24. Ismail picked 2 wickets. Pak Fighters in reply collapsed and managed meager 98 runs. Waqar hit 26. Shahnawaz bagged 4 wickets while Zeeshan got 3.
